PageDNA Fiery Integration is a PageDNA product capability designed to work with Fiery Command WorkStation®, the digital print industry’s most ubiquitous job management platform and the central user interface through which print businesses can manage all their Fiery® Driven™ devices.
For print teams using Fiery Command WorkStation to manage digital production, this release shortens the path from an approved online order to a production-ready job. PageDNA can carry approved order data, production files, and job information forward into the Fiery production environment, helping reduce duplicate work, limit avoidable re-keying, and improve alignment between the storefront and the pressroom.

What PageDNA Fiery Integration Is
The integration connects PageDNA’s web-to-print ordering and production workflow with Fiery Driven digital print environments.
PageDNA does not replace the way your pressroom works in Fiery. We connect what the customer ordered to the way you have already told Fiery to produce it. The storefront knows what the customer ordered. Fiery knows how your pressroom produces it. PageDNA connects the two.
Each PageDNA item can be associated with a specific Fiery-connected DFE, an existing Fiery preset, and the appropriate production queue. Once the job is reviewed and ready, PageDNA sends the approved production file and relevant job information forward using those predefined production instructions.

How It Works
A customer places an order through a PageDNA storefront.
- Order submission — The customer configures the item, uploads or approves artwork, selects quantities, and places the order in PageDNA.
- Review and production readiness — PageDNA captures order details, the approved file, specifications, and production requirements. The job can be reviewed, assigned, and prepared in PageDNA’s existing production tools.
- Handoff — When the job is ready, PageDNA passes the production-ready file and relevant job information into the Fiery-connected environment. Depending on configuration, that can include routing to Hold or Print, plus print presets and imposition templates.
- Fiery Command WorkStation execution — Operators continue to manage print execution in Fiery Command WorkStation. PageDNA’s job is to get a cleaner, more complete job there.
- Production and fulfillment — Print, completion, and shipment stay part of the broader PageDNA order workflow.

The integration is designed to work alongside PageDNA Order Manager: what was ordered, what needs attention, what is ready for production. It extends that path by moving approved work into the Fiery production environment with less manual effort.
Connected flow:
Customer order → approved file → production details → Fiery handoff → Fiery Command WorkStation execution → completion and shipment.
PageDNA manages the customer-facing storefront, order data, approved files, and production workflow. Fiery Command WorkStation manages the digital print production environment. For items that can be produced on more than one device, a single Fiery DFE is assigned per item at a time so routing stays predictable.
Built for Real Pressrooms
Shops vary. Some are standardized; others run multiple devices, departments, manufacturers, and paths. The integration is intended for real production conditions, not a laboratory workflow: file readiness, quantity, routing, device selection, due dates, job instructions, and operator visibility.
It does not ask the pressroom to abandon the Fiery workflows it already knows. Operators continue working in Fiery Command WorkStation, using the presets, queues, and production practices already established there. PageDNA’s job is to deliver a cleaner, more complete job into that environment.

Is PageDNA replacing Fiery Command WorkStation?
No. Fiery Command WorkStation remains the production control environment for Fiery Driven operations. PageDNA Fiery Integration connects PageDNA’s ordering and workflow tools to that environment.
Does this eliminate manual production review?
Not necessarily. Each shop decides how much review and operator control to keep. The integration is meant to cut unnecessary handoffs and duplicate entry, not needed oversight.
Can this support end-to-end flow from online order to print?
Yes. PageDNA manages the storefront, order data, approved files, production workflow, and customer-facing process. Fiery Command WorkStation remains the downstream production environment.
Is this only for high-volume shops?
No. Any team using PageDNA with a supported Fiery Driven environment can benefit from fewer handoffs and better job consistency.
Does this require Fiery API access or a specific configuration?
Yes. It requires Fiery API access and a supported Fiery configuration. PageDNA will review compatibility, configuration, and implementation with each customer.
