Single Sign-On (SSO)

What Is Single Sign-On?

Single Sign-On (SSO) is an authentication process that provides security and convenience for users. It allows storefront login with a single click, without users having to remember or type in another password. All of this is accomplished by tying PageDNA to the identity management system of the parent organization. This integration also ties your PageDNA system more closely to the organization you serve (your customer if you are a commercial printer, or your own organization if you are an internal print shop).

Advantages of Single Sign-On

  • A single username and password for your internal system and your PageDNA storefront.
  • A centralized source of user information, decreasing user maintenance.
  • Seamless user experience for customers, linking internal and external sites.
  • If a user leaves the organization, they no longer have access to the PageDNA system.
  • The ability to pass additional user information into the system, such as:
    • Phone numbers, title, billing codes/cost centers, a product division/department, and more.
  • The system supports MD5 hash and SAML2 protocols.
    • Common SAML systems include Azure, ADFS, Google, Okta, Shibboleth.
